The Story Behind the Piece

Each month we will tell the story on the inspiring designers and icons of vintage jewellery that make us love what we do.

This month we focus on the legendary Art Nouveau designer Miriam Haskell, who's pieces have been worn from everyone from Joan Crawford to Michelle Obama.

Born in the US she become the go to lady for affordable costume jewellery from the 1920s to the 1960s. Her intricate designs took inspiration from nature and are both ornate and organic in their appearance. As with many designers of the Art Nouveau scene Miriam liked to take what she saw around her and then stylize it for modern day.

Our collection pays real homage to her work and incorporates and weaves in different materials and stones to create unique pieces that are sure to be worn and loved time and time again.
