THINK HEAD TO TOE DRESSING FOR GOODWOOD REVIVAL
If you are fortunate enough to be going to Goodwood Revival this year or any year, you need to think about head to toe dressing. The finishing touches are going to be the make or break of your planned outfit.
Visitors to Goodwood Revival take dressing up very seriously and both men and women go the extra mile to make their outfit the best it can be.
Think 1940s style overalls with woven cap and racing googles; 1950s netted full skirts with nipped in waist belts and cute knitted cardigans; 1960s shift dresses with knee high leather boots and retro round sunglasses. This is the place to see and be seen.
Great Goodwood Revival jewellery pieces include our 50s style cherry necklace and earrings.
"Getting the right hair style is key"
Growing up in Melbourne, Australia the craft of hairstyling had always intrigued Marjorie. Whilst other little girls growing up in the 90’s got their fashion inspiration from the Spice Girls or Alanis Morissette, Marjorie grew up idolising the likes of Doris Day, Lucille Ball and Grace Kelly. Through her teen years, she found herself adopting little fashion traits that these glamour beauties held, whether it be a flower in her hair, a vintage scarf around her neck or a pair of Mary Jane’s with a cute buckle.
With a growth mindset and a drive to be her own boss, Marjorie was determined to start her own business and spread her love of vintage glam. She has trained with some of the top leaders in the vintage hair world including Carl Brown (Liverpool), The Vintage Beauty Parlour (Manchester), Ms Rockabilly Ruby (L.A)
and Michael Davidson (Melbourne.)
Her editorial credits include work in Runway Life International, Hello May, Polkadot Bride,
Marjorie Magazine, Easy Weddings and Vintage Bride Magazine
try to think about comfort too
You are no doubt going to be spending most of the day on your feet so consider kitten heels or something a bit more comfortable (otherwise pop some pumps into a small bag to change into).
Like at Twinwood there are lots of opportunities at Goodwood Revival to get your groove on and dance to some old fashion rock and roll or a cheeky jive.
create a matching look
A great way to finish off an outfit is with a matching pair of earrings and a necklace. Marjorie wore our best selling deco earrings and matching necklace to Twinwood and we think she looks fab, it's a 1920s / 1950s mash up that works!
At the moment (until 31st August 2025) you can take advantage of Buy 1 get 1 half price offer. Hurry as this will end soon.

Of course Goodwood Revival is based around racing vintage cars but it is so much more than that, it's a true spectator sport of people watching, dressing up, rides at the fun fair (over the road), outdoor cinema and vintage style shopping!
