What vintage inspired jewellery we wore to the Goodwood Ball

  • Kelsey attended the Goodwood Ball at the Duke of Richmond’s Goodwood Estate, wearing vintage-inspired jewellery suited to the evening’s old-world glamour.
  • Her chosen pieces celebrated the elegance of vintage jewellery and the geometric sophistication of the Art Deco era.
  • The ball raised funds for Mission 44, Lewis Hamilton’s foundation supporting young people and greater social inclusion.

Hello, Lovett Lovers,

Welcome to the first chapter of our new journal series, Musings of a Modern Mademoiselle - a collection of stories celebrating beautiful jewels, glamorous occasions and the enduring romance of dressing for the moment.

For our first entry, we are stepping inside the magnificent Goodwood Ball, held at the Duke of Richmond’s historic Goodwood Estate.

Kelsey, our new brand custodian, attended the ball on Saturday evening. Yet before the dancing, champagne, and grandeur could begin, there was one very important decision to make:

Which vintage-inspired jewellery should she wear?

An Evening of Vintage Glamour at Goodwood

With its historic surroundings and elegant dress code, the Goodwood Ball offered the perfect opportunity to embrace a little old-world glamour.

Kelsey styled her evening look with statement vintage jewellery inspired by the sophistication of the 1920s and the geometric beauty of the Art Deco era. From sparkling necklaces to ornate earrings, each piece brought its own sense of history, character and occasion.

For us, the beauty of vintage-inspired jewellery lies in its ability to transform an outfit. A single jewel can evoke another era, tell a story and make even a modern dress feel utterly timeless.

A Ball with a Meaningful Purpose

The evening was not only a celebration of glamour. The Goodwood Ball also raised money for Mission 44, the charitable foundation established by Sir Lewis Hamilton to help create a fairer and more inclusive future for young people.

It was a magical evening in support of an important cause—and one that called for equally memorable jewels.
